We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, log workouts, and use the Service. This includes: your email address, first name, and last name (account data), workout logs including exercises, sets, reps, and weights (training data), body weight measurements (optional), and routine configurations. If you use the AI Chat feature (Pro), we also collect your chat messages and queries to generate personalized insights. We also collect limited usage data such as app version, device type, and interaction patterns to improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Service. Specifically: to operate and maintain your account, to store and display your workout data and analytics, to calculate progress metrics such as volume trends and personal records, to process AI Chat queries and generate personalized training insights (Pro users), to communicate with you about account-related matters (verification emails, password resets), and to detect and prevent abuse of the Service.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication with session-based tokens, and access controls on all data. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., overall usage statistics) that cannot be used to identify you. We may disclose your information if required by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
5. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can: access all your workout data within the app, export your data from the app settings, delete individual workout entries or your entire account, and request deletion of all your data by contacting us. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove all your personal data from our servers within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for statistical purposes.
7. Cookies & Tracking
The Vuhat website uses minimal cookies necessary for basic functionality (theme preferences, session state). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers on our marketing website. The mobile app does not use cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
